IB-account verification process
After registering your IB account, you need to complete the process by undergoing verification. This step is crucial to ensure the security of your account.
Checking Verification Status
In the top-right corner of your personal account, there is a progress indicator showing the percentage of the verification process completed. This visual indicator helps you track how many steps remain.
Steps to Complete Verification
To start the verification process, click on the onboarding steps displayed in your personal account.
- Enter Personal Information:Date of Birth
- Residential Address
- Country of Residence
After entering this information, your verification process will be 50% complete. It is important to enter accurate data as it will be used to confirm your identity.
- Upload Required Documents
In the second step, you need to upload documents to verify your identity and place of residence.
Please ensure that:
- Your photo ID is clear and legible
- Your document is issued by a government authority
- Your name, date of birth, and expiry/issue date are clearly visible
- Proof of residence is not older than 3 months
